Bryan's "Cross of Gold" - Day 2

Today, I listened to William Jennings Bryan's "Cross of Gold" speech. I politically support what Bryan had to say. I am a supporter of helping the less fortunate and I feel strongly for the cash-poor and debt-burdened farmers. I believe that endorsing the free coinage of silver at a ratio of silver to gold of 16 to 1 would help the country prosper. I think that having this will help our economy in the long run by increasing the amount of money in the circulation and overall boosting our economy.  The emotion and vivid metaphors that William Jennings Bryan uses helped prove his point and convinced me (and probably a lot of other people) to support his plan.
